Our Story
DigitalDoctors@Home was born from both professional insight and deeply personal experiences. Our parent company, Walker Health Care Holdings, Inc. (WHCH), was founded in 2020 by Drs. Richard W. Walker, Jr., and Clarence M. Porter, practicing physicians who witnessed firsthand the inequitable delivery of healthcare to underserved communities - Black and brown populations, Native Americans, sick veterans, those in rural areas, and seniors.
They knew they needed to build more in order to deliver excellent and complete care. Consequently TVP-Care and DD@H became wholly owned subsidiaries of WHCH.
The vision for DD@H crystallized when Dr. Walker partnered with Doug Dotan, whose journey into healthcare began with tragedy. After his mother died due to a medical error, Doug channeled his expertise from the airline industry's safety and risk management into healthcare innovation. This merger brought together two powerful forces: medical expertise and cutting-edge technology. Our technology efforts include remote patient monitoring devices that tracks patients 24/7, and predictive analytics, powered by AI.
Nearly every member of our leadership team has experienced circumstances through family members that changed their perspective on healthcare...Experiences that shaped their determination to prevent others from facing unwanted outcomes for their loved ones.
Patient Care Centers
Our Patient Care Center (PCC) has nurses who monitor this data and coordinate care virtually, while our clinical team provides high-touch care directly in patients' homes.
This includes doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and Community Healthcare Workers.
Our goal is to prevent unnecessary emergency department visits and hospital admissions by identifying and addressing health issues before they become serious.

Dr. Richard Walker founded WHCH, and other healthcare companies, after his mother was twice admitted into hospitals due to the lack of access to manage her multiple chronic diseases at home. Unable to drive, and barely able to walk with severe arthritis, led her to being taken to an Emergency Dept by ambulance, and subsequently admitted to the ICU in a coma for six weeks followed by 8 weeks of rehab, both occurring in back-to-back years. These were the epiphanies to become a healthcare entrepreneur.
Richard is the 5th generation grandson of John Walker (1855), a Virginia slave. He’s a “graduate” of the Johnson projects (government housing), in Spanish Harlem, (“El Barrio”) NY, where he grew up.

Dr. Walker founded the Natural Birthing Centers of TX, the first licensed birthing center in the state (lic. # 0001, 1987). He’s Chairman, Founder/CEO of Walker Health Care Holdings, Inc. (WHCH), and its wholly owned subsidiaries: The Virtual Primary-Care Connection, LLC. (TVP-Care), and DigitalDoctors@Home (DD@H, co-founder), Canopy Health, LLC., United Home Care, LLC. The Institute for Community Healthcare Involvement (a 501(c)(3), and co-founder of Cardio-Bridge.
He was in the USAF (`64 -`68), a Vietnam era veteran. Richard received his BS in Forensic Science from John Jay Coll. of Criminal Justice, NY, NY (`71); a Medical Doctorate from the Albert Einstein Coll. of Medicine, Bronx, NY; (`74) and completed his Internship and Residency at the U. of Michigan, in Ob/Gyn, Ann Arbor, MI (`74 -`78). He was an Assoc. Prof. at U of TX @ Galveston; and the Medical Director, of Concentra’s Houston Medical Center Clinic, the largest in the country. He holds post-graduate degrees in Environmental Medicine from SW Naturopathic College, Tempe, AZ; certification in Functional Medicine from the Institute for Functional Medicine, where he is also a facilitator; and an MBA with distinction (GPA: 3.97) from The Jack Welch Management Institute (2017). Graduated from the Newchip, Incubator (2015).
Dr. Richard Walker is one of a handful of clinicians certified in Value-based Care (Western Gov. U., 2022), and is a Merkin Scholar in the subject. He’s an author of many peer-reviewed articles and authored, “African American Healthy,” (2011), his acclaimed book, “Black Health Matters,” (2021), “How to Deal with Your Troubled Child,” (2023).

He brings deep expertise in physician compensation, clinical operations, and data-driven performance optimization, backed by advanced degrees in Health Law and Public Administration. David’s leadership style blends analytical rigor with empathetic stewardship, positioning him as a trusted partner in driving sustainable healthcare innovation.
He currently serves on multiple boards (both fiduciary and non-fiduciary/advisory), has overseen over $1B in assets, and remains committed to advancing care delivery through strategic investment and operational excellence.
David Warsing continues to advise multiple healthcare organizations as a strategic consultant, with a focus on care coordination, payer strategy, and digital health innovation. His work spans the design of integrated workflows, optimization of value-based contracts, and deployment of scalable technologies that enhance outcomes and operational efficiency.

Douglas’ path shifted from aviation to healthcare when his mother’s preventable death from a missed diagnosis and the 1999 IOM report To Err Is Human.
Douglas has 30+ years as an Israel Air Force pilot, flight safety officer, and lead accident investigator. Douglas recognized that the same safety systems built in aviation could transform healthcare.
Douglas earned a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology and was posted more than a decade at Air Security International (ASI). Douglas left ASI and founded CRG Medical, Inc. to adapt aviation safety practices for medicine. CRG developed MEMS (Medical Event Management System) and partnered with South Australia’s PSI to bring the world-class
AIMS reporting system to U.S. hospitals, beginning with the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial.
CRG went on to build systems that analyzed near-miss data, supported rural hospitals through Texas A&M’s RCHI, and enabled the St. Joseph Health System to become a national leader in proactive, system-wide risk reduction. CRG later launched one of the first Patient Safety Organizations (PSOs) under the 2005 PSQIA, creating the first federally approved electronic PSES platform to securely submit protected patient safety data to the federal Agency for
Healthcare Research and Quality.
CRG innovations earned national recognition: two ONC Challenge prizes (2012, 2018), contracts with state hospital associations, and expansion into AI-driven predictive tools through Pegwin Patient Safety Innovation (2016).
In 2024, Douglas co-founded DigitalDoctors@Home with Dr. Richard W. Walker, Jr., applying digital solutions to patient care.

Mr. Nadav Lankin serves as both Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Security Officer for WHCH, where he leads comprehensive technology and security strategy initiatives. In his dual leadership capacity, Mr. Lankin architects FDA-compliant, SOC 2-certified platforms while orchestrating the seamless integration of medical devices, clinical artificial intelligence systems, and robust cybersecurity protocols. His strategic approach ensures that patient safety, risk management, and data integrity remain paramount considerations throughout all organizational growth initiatives.
